A hen or stag party outside the city: how to organise it in the countryside

Club noise and a rented apartment in the city centre are one option for a hen or stag do. Quiet, a bonfire and the whole grounds just for your crew are the other, completely different one. More and more groups pick the second, and below is everything you need to know to organise it.

Why the countryside instead of the city

A hen or stag party in the city often ends the same way: a loud club, random people all around and a bill nobody knows the origin of. On top of that comes the logistics, meaning taxis, queues and making sure nobody gets lost.

In the countryside the whole crew has the grounds to itself. No strangers, no waiters glancing at the clock, no neighbours behind the wall. It is a different kind of party, more about time together than about the town, and it usually produces more conversations than photos.

There is also the practical argument: nobody has to get back anywhere. Everyone sleeps on site.

How many people fit

It is the most common question, so concretely:

So: 8 people staying overnight, and if extra guests join just for the gathering, without sleeping over, the shelter takes about 20 people. That setup works well when part of the crew lives nearby and comes only for the evening.

The limit of 4 people per cabin is hard. It is not a sales limit, it is a real constraint of space and comfort.

Why the whole grounds must be rented

Group trips and parties always mean renting both cabins at once. You cannot rent one cabin for a hen party and leave the other for a random couple.

The reason is simple and honest: a couple who came for quiet should not land next to a party 250 metres away. That rule protects them, but it protects you too, because thanks to it you can be loud without watching out for anyone.

How much it costs

Renting the whole grounds for an event is 2000 zł per night for both cabins and the entire terrain. What comes on top depends on the details: the number of people, the food, any guests without an overnight stay, and what exactly you are planning, so we settle the final amount together after a conversation.

What is worth knowing regardless of the quote:

• The minimum stay is 2 nights, as with any weekend.
• Food for the group is agreed separately, because we cook to a specific order.
• For a group booking we ask for a card as security.

What is in the price of the stay and works for a group

Two private hot tubs with jacuzzi and two Finnish saunas, one per cabin, both with no time limit. For a group of eight that is a practical edge over a single shared spa, because there is no queue and you can take turns or use them in parallel.

On top of that: a 4K outdoor cinema with projector and Netflix, a bonfire spot, a gas grill, the roofed shelter, four bikes (two per cabin), four SUP boards, a trampoline, volleyball, badminton and football across the whole ranch. By Domek Marzeń additionally the stocked fishing pond with a jetty.

A sample two-night plan

Friday afternoon. Arrival, splitting the crew between the cabins, the first beer under the shelter. The hot tubs are already heated if you told us when you would arrive.

Friday evening. Bonfire and the outdoor cinema under the shelter. It is usually the best moment of the whole trip, because everyone has arrived and nobody is tired yet.

Saturday before noon. Breakfast at whatever pace people get up. There is no fixed hour.

Saturday during the day. Activities: volleyball, badminton, SUP on the pond, bikes around the area. Or nothing, depending on how Friday went.

Saturday evening. The party proper. Grill, bonfire, hot tubs and saunas in shifts. Nobody has to get back to town.

Sunday. Breakfast, slow packing, check-out. This is the day that made two nights worth taking instead of one.

What we do not have

Worth saying openly, before someone plans something that cannot be done.

No party staff. We have no bartender, DJ, waiters or catering company on site. You can invite someone from outside, but you organise it yourselves and tell us how many people to expect.

No party hall. There is the roofed shelter, which protects from rain, but it is not a heated hall. For a November party that has to be factored in.

No 24h reception. We are on the phone, but nobody sits in a booth at the gate.

No disco and no sound system. Your own equipment has to be brought along.

And one request: since you are renting the whole grounds, there are no other guests to disturb. But we are in a village and have neighbours beyond the ranch grounds, so after 10 pm we ask for common sense. It is the only restriction and usually nobody has a problem with it.

When to book

The wedding season (May-September) means hen and stag parties pile up on the same weekends. We have two cabins, so dates vanish fast.

For a party it is worth getting in touch earlier than for a regular booking, because beyond availability itself there are details to settle: the number of people, the food, the day guests. Two to three months ahead is a sensible margin.

Who this will not work for

If you are looking for a party with full service, a bar and a programme, you will be disappointed. This is a place that gives you space and infrastructure, and the rest you organise yourselves.

If the plan is a loud party until morning with a sound system, this is also not the best address, because we do live in the neighbourhood of other people.

If, on the other hand, you are looking for a place where the crew can be together for two days, talk by the bonfire, mess about at volleyball and jump into the hot tub at two in the morning, it works exactly as it should.
