Winter half-term 2027 in a cabin with a hot tub: arrive Sunday, leave Thursday
These are the Polish school winter holidays, set region by region by the Ministry of Education, and they run in three fortnights: 18-31 January, 1-14 February and 15-28 February 2027. They are the two weeks of the school year when children are free from Monday to Friday, so you do not need a weekend: outside the weekend a single night is enough. Half-term is a special date, so the nightly price for your dates is shown in the calendar when you book.

The Polish Ministry of Education splits the 2026/2027 winter holidays into three fortnights. 18-31 January 2027: Subcarpathia, Podlasie, Lower Silesia, Lodz, Silesia, Opole. 1-14 February: Masovia, Pomerania, Holy Cross, Lublin. 15-28 February: Lubusz, Kuyavia-Pomerania, Warmia-Masuria, Greater Poland, West Pomerania, Lesser Poland. Rogowo sits in Kuyavia-Pomerania, so the local children are off last, 15-28 February. Your own fortnight decides which Sundays you can even pick.
One midweek night is an ordinary booking
One night from Sunday to Thursday is an ordinary booking here; at the weekend the minimum is two nights, and a weekend night costs more than a midweek one. Half-term is not a special date for us: a night costs the same as through most of the year, PLN 500 from Sunday to Thursday and PLN 600 at the weekend, for the cabin with one or two people. The calendar at booking confirms the rate for your dates before you pay anything. The extras are fixed all year: cleaning PLN 150 once per stay, third and fourth guest PLN 50 each per night, four people per cabin at most.
What children actually do here in the frost
The hot tub sits comfortably at 38-40 degrees and costs PLN 150 for a chosen day: we light it for your arrival, then you add the wood yourself, with no time limit. The Finnish sauna runs at 90 degrees for the same price, but we heat it only if you ask in advance. The nightly rate covers the trampoline, 4K outdoor cinema with a projector and Netflix under the roofed shelter, a fire pit, a grill, board games and four bikes per cabin, children included, though we have no helmets. Water radiators in every room are fed from our boiler house outside, so nobody has to manage the heating.
A winter week on the property
Hot tub PLN 150 a day, no time limit. At 38-40 degrees it matters most when it is freezing.
4K outdoor cinema with a projector and Netflix under the roofed shelter, included in the rate.
The trampoline stays on the property in winter too, at no extra cost and with no time slots.
Four bikes per cabin, for adults and children. We have no helmets, so bring your own.
Board games, bathrobes and towels are included. There is no ski slope, no pool and no entertainer.

What does a Sunday-to-Thursday stay cost for two adults and two children?
Half-term is not a special date here, so a night costs the same as in an ordinary week: PLN 500 from Sunday to Thursday and PLN 600 at the weekend, for the cabin with one or two people. The calendar at booking confirms the rate for your dates. On top of it come the extras that are fixed all year: the third and fourth guest at PLN 50 each per night, so PLN 400 over four nights, and cleaning at PLN 150 once per stay — PLN 550 in total above the price of the nights. With the hot tub for one day that is PLN 700, with the hot tub and the sauna on the same day PLN 850. You pay a 25 percent deposit online, the rest on arrival in cash or by card.
Is there a cot and a baby bath?
Yes, we have both on site and neither costs anything, but we set them up only if you ask in advance, so write to us before you arrive. A cabin takes four people at most, both cabins together eight.
Is a wooden cabin warm in winter?
Yes. Every room has water radiators fed from our boiler house outside, so there is nothing to load and nothing to watch. On top of that there is air conditioning that both heats and cools, and an electric fireplace in the living room. There is no underfloor heating. Bathrobes and towels are included in the nightly rate.
Is there a ski slope, a pool or entertainment for children?
There is no slope, no pool and no entertainer, and no reception or restaurant either. The bathing spot at Lake Huta is 10 minutes away by car, and in winter it is a beach for a walk rather than a swim. What stays here is the hot tub, the sauna, the trampoline, 4K cinema under the shelter, a fire pit, a grill, bikes and board games, all without queueing, because the cabin is yours alone.
What is the minimum stay during half-term?
From Sunday to Thursday one night is enough; at the weekend the minimum is two nights. A night runs from 15:00 to 11:00, late check-out costs PLN 150 and we agree it on the day you arrive. Half-term is an ordinary date, so free cancellation runs until 7 days before arrival, the same as all year.
Do the discounts apply during half-term?
Yes. Half-term is not a special date, so the discount for four nights or more, the last-minute rate and the returning-guest code all apply. The PLN 50 newsletter discount works on any date, and outside the weekend the nightly rate is lower than the weekend one.
