Arrival and parking

On the day you arrive we will text you asking roughly what time to expect you; wherever we can, we greet our guests in person. If we cannot be there, the cabin will be open and you will find the keys inside.

Getting to Domek Marzeń: the entrance is immediately on the right, between the thujas. Getting to Domek Na Uboczu: a dirt track to the right, towards the dark wooden panels, then a short stretch across the meadow. In both cases you park right by the cabin.

The hot tub, step by step

The hot tub is wood-fired, with the stove at the back. Wherever we can we heat it for your arrival; on the following days you light it yourselves, which is simpler than it sounds.

   You will find the wood in the shed behind the tub. Next to it there is a block with a hatchet: smaller pieces burn better, but you do not have to chop anything.

   Beside it is a gas bottle with a burner for lighting: open the valve on the bottle, turn the knob on the burner and light it. Once it has caught, close the gas supply. This matters.

   Add the wood in batches, a little at a time, not a lot at once. Filling the stove straight away can overheat the water.

   Aim for 38-39 degrees, which is the most pleasant temperature. Do not heat it above 40: the water then gets too hot to sit in for more than a few minutes.

The sauna

The sauna is also wood-fired, with the stove at the back. Heating it to 80 degrees takes about an hour, a bit longer in winter, so light it well in advance. The wood comes from the same shed as for the hot tub.

Cinema and projector

You will find the projector in the wardrobe in the cabin. It is set up and connected to the internet; you just log in to your own account on a streaming platform: Netflix, Amazon and the rest. Please remember to log out at the end of your stay.

Breakfast and dinner

It is best to order food before your stay begins, but you can also tell us during it.

   Order by 18:00 the day before at the latest, so that we have time to prepare. After that hour we cannot guarantee availability.

   We bring the basket at the time we agree with you: we leave it on the table by the cabin and knock, or bring it inside if you prefer.

   After the meal we would be grateful if you put the glass containers in the dishwasher, without the plastic lids. The dishwasher tablets are in the very bottom drawer.

The fire pit

Firewood is included and waiting on site, along with everything needed to light it.

Staying with an animal

A welcome set for your dog waits in the cabin: a bed, bowls for water and food, treats and a chew toy. Just remember the grounds are not fully fenced, so with a dog that likes to explore, a lead comes in useful.

Check-out

The stay ends at 11:00. We would appreciate knowing roughly when you plan to leave, especially if it is early, because we can start cleaning sooner.
