Renting the grounds
Grounds for dog workshops, Sunday to Thursday
We do not run the workshops. We provide the grounds and the beds; you arrive with your own group and your own programme.
How it works
You are a behaviourist, a trainer or an instructor looking for somewhere to run a few days of group work. We provide the space, you do your job.
You rent the whole property, both cabins at once, so there are no random guests and no strange dogs on site to distract the group.
Dates are Sunday to Thursday only. Midweek is quieter and cheaper here, and the grounds are yours alone.
What you get
The whole property to yourself
No strange dogs and no passers-by in the background. When you are working on reactivity or focus, that is not a comfort, it is the condition that makes the session work at all.
Beds for you and the participants
Two cabins, up to 8 people in total. The trainer and the group sleep on site, so you do not lose the morning hours to travel and gathering everyone.
The shelter as a classroom
A covered shelter for around 20 people. Theory, reviewing footage and breaks all work the same when it rains.
Open space and woodland
The grounds and the woods right next door for fieldwork, scent work, tracking and distance work. Note: the grounds are not fully fenced.
Animals at no charge
Dogs and cats are always free, so the cost per participant does not rise with every animal. Across a group that makes a real difference to what your workshop costs.
Meals for the whole group
Home-cooked breakfasts and dinners to order, cooked on site. The group does not scatter at mealtimes.
The rules
- Dates Sunday to Thursday only
- The rental covers the whole property, both cabins at once
- The programme, insurance and responsibility for the sessions are yours
- We agree the number of dogs and the requirements (vaccinations, behaviour in a group) before you arrive
- The grounds are not fully fenced, so your plan has to account for that
We set the price for renting the whole property for a workshop individually, based on the number of days and people. Write and tell us what you are planning and we will reply by the end of the day at the latest.
Tell us what you are planningQuestions from trainers
Do you run dog workshops?
No. We provide the grounds and the accommodation; the workshop is run by a behaviourist you invite, or by you. The programme and responsibility for the sessions are on your side.
How many dogs can be on the grounds at once?
We agree that individually before booking, depending on the size of the dogs and the nature of the sessions. Tell us how many participants you are planning and we will say plainly whether the grounds can carry it.
Are the grounds fenced?
Not fully. There is plenty of room to work, but it is not an enclosed run, so with dogs prone to bolting you need to build that into the plan.
Can we book a weekend?
Not for workshops. Renting the grounds for group sessions covers Sunday to Thursday only.
