Workation

Work from the forest, not just from a café

Starlink: satellite internet that carries video calls and large file uploads, including where there is no fibre.

Questions before a workation

Is the internet genuinely good enough for video calls and big files?

Yes. Starlink gives a stable connection. Developers, video editors and photographers sending heavy files to clients all work from here.

Does the midweek rate pay off on a longer stay?

Yes. The Sunday-to-Thursday rate (500 PLN a night) is lower than the weekend one, and you add the hot tub and sauna at 150 PLN a day each, only on the evenings you want them.

Can you actually rest here, not just work?

That is exactly the balance. Work in the morning on good internet, then from 1pm the hot tub, a bike or a walk, without the feeling that you still owe someone something.

A workation day

  1. 8:00

    Coffee and first emails

Quiet, without the distractions of an office.

  2. 9:00-13:00

    Work on Starlink

Video calls and large files without the connection dropping.

  3. 13:00

    Hot tub and a break

A real reset in the middle of the day, not just a coffee break.

  4. Evening

    A bike ride or silence

The end of the working day with no commute home.

Questions about workation

How fast is the internet?

Starlink provides a stable connection, enough for video calls and sending large files. There is a speed test write-up on the blog.

Can I stay for a whole working week?

Yes, the midweek rate (Sunday to Thursday) exists for exactly this kind of stay.
